A study by the Real Estate Staging Association found that homes staged before listing received an offer in just 23 days on average.
1. Declutter!
Now is the time to clutter-bust your way to a buyers’ hearts! These 5 areas are places to concentrate your efforts.

2. Rearrange the Furniture
Once all the clutter’s out of the way, take a step back and look at your furniture placement. Does your home invite buyers to sit and stay a while?
Put bulky pieces in storage and move furniture away from the walls. Buyers want to walk in and see an open and clean space that inspires conversation.

3. Clean Everything!
Cleaning your home for home showings is common sense. But your home has to be spotless.
Think like a buyer! Pay special attention to the smallest details, like ceiling fans and window blinds, baseboards and tile grout, no surface goes un-scrubbed!
Let as much light in as possible by getting all windows squeaky-clean. “There needs to be as much light coming in as possible,” Dawn says.
4. Set the Table
Paint a picture for potential buyers so they can envision life in your home.

5. Bring the Outside In
Flowers are inviting, smell nice and warm up any room. Fresh bouquet from your garden, the store or farmers market will brighten up the room and help the buyers envision themselves living in your home.

If you have outdoor porch lights turn them on for evening showings!
6. Curb appeal
